Notes: Oskar Spiegelhalder (1863-1925) was the Director of Sames of the Lenzkirch (Black Forest, Germany) Clock company, but also a scholar and collector of historic folk craft of the Black Forest (including clocks). In the course of his life he assembled three clock collections, which became the core of the black forest horological holdings of the museums in Freiburg, Karlsruhe and Villingen. The last(in Villingen) also included his lifelong collection of catalogs and pricelists of blackforest clocks. The Franziskaner Musem of Villingen has preserved these 358 documents on 17 reels of microfilm. The NAtional Watch and clock museum in Columbia PA acquired a set of microfilms around 2007 and the present document is the printout of the excell file with 358 lines, cataloging te content of these reels of microfilm. As of 2013 the DGC in Nuernberg is plaing to sytematically scan all of the original catalogs of Spiegelhalder preserved in Villingen.
