Notes: Prize Medal] The Britsih Horological Society - 1885 - Awarded to J.R. Spittal -For Drawing and Theory. Spital was also in 1875 given a bound in 4 Volumes set of 'The Horological Journal' (Vol 15-26), when he got the medal. The bound journals were sold by Christies on 1997/03/21 in London for UKP 437. The medal was sold in Feb 2014 on ebay, to the 'Best price offer' after NOt reaching the sugested minimum price of UKP 185.
